Errors and limits

Errors come back as JSON with a message and a code:

Status	Code	Meaning
401	`INVALID_API_KEY`	The key is wrong, revoked or expired.
401	`KEY_LOST_ACCESS`	The person who made the key is no longer in its team.
403	`MISSING_SCOPE`	The key needs another scope for this. The message names it.
403	`NOT_AVAILABLE_TO_API_KEYS`	Keys cannot be used for this at all, whatever their scopes.
403	`WRONG_WORKSPACE`	The request asked for a different workspace than the key belongs to.
403	`EMAIL_NOT_VERIFIED`	The account that owns the key has not verified its email.
403	`PLAN_LIMIT_REACHED`	Your plan does not allow this. The message says which limit.
429	`RATE_LIMITED`	More than 120 requests in a minute. `Retry-After` says when to try again.

Rate limit

Each key can make 120 requests a minute. Past that, requests get 429 with a Retry-After header in seconds.
