Auto-deploy ships every push, even one that breaks your tests. To deploy only when tests pass, let your CI run the deploy instead.
1

Turn off auto-deploy

Open the app, go to the CI/CD tab and switch off Auto Deploy.
2

Create a key

In Settings, API Keys, create a key with Read apps and Deploy apps, in the workspace the app lives in.
3

Store it as a CI secret

In GitHub, go to the repository’s Settings, Secrets and variables, Actions, and add it as SYMPLAX_API_KEY.
4

Deploy as the last step

Add the deploy after your tests:
.github/workflows/deploy.yml
symplax deploy follows the build and exits with code 1 if the deploy fails, so the job fails with it. SYMPLAX_API_KEY always wins over a saved login, so CI never needs symplax login.
Deploying several apps? Run one symplax deploy per app, in the order they need to go out, for example the API before the frontend.
