You need a Symplax account, a GitHub repository with a web app in it, and a server. If you do not have a server yet, Symplax can set one up for you.
1

Create your account

Sign up at symplax.com and verify your email. The Free plan needs no card.
2

Add a server

In the dashboard, go to Servers and add one:
  • Connect your own: click New Server, Connect existing server, and enter its IP address and SSH login. Symplax signs in and sets everything up. Ubuntu or Debian works best. See Connect a server.
  • Buy one: pick a size and pay by the hour from your wallet. It is ready in about a minute. See Buy a server.
3

Connect GitHub

Go to Apps and click to create an app. The first time, Symplax asks you to install its GitHub app so it can read your repositories.
4

Deploy

Pick the repository, the branch and the server, then deploy. Symplax detects the framework, or uses your Dockerfile if there is one, and follows the build live.
5

Open your app

When the deploy finishes, your app is live at its free https://<app>.symplax.app address. Every push to the branch deploys again.
Prefer the terminal? Run npx symplax login, then npx symplax deploy to deploy and follow the build without leaving it. See the CLI.

Next steps

Add a database

Create one on the same server and link it to your app.

Environment variables

Add secrets and settings, including ones needed at build time.

Custom domain

Point your own domain at the app, with HTTPS set up for you.

Invite your team

Work together with roles that decide who can see and change what.
